Things here at my college are really winding down. On Monday, there will not be a full class in my Computer Competencies class. I'll just be filling out an evaluation form, get my tests back, and find out my grade in the class. For the procrastinators, there is a lab just for them! Next week, there is what my instructor calls the "Procrastinator's Lab". That will give them a chance to finish up incomplete lab work. I'll also be taking my News Writing exam. For that class, it will be my last official day.
This coming Tuesday is my last Econ. test. I am getting a B in there right now so I don't want to blow it. The best grade that I can get in that class is a B+. Even if I got that grade, it wouldn't be enough to raise my cumulative GPA to a 3.7. Instead, it would be a 3.68. I'm glad that I have Spring Semester. That will give me another chance to get that 3.7. If I get A's for that semester, I will surely get it, hands down!
I'm also glad that I have Spring Semester since it will keep me busy. I know that I started to get lazy last year. I had no Spring/Summer classes and I had no job. This will keep me busy.
With the short break coming up, I need to get the creative juices flowing for my The Master's Chronicles story to take off. It sounds like a good title but what's even more important is all the text that is underneath that cover. I don't have a page number set for the story yet but I do know that I want it to be long.
I think that I'll read some other authors to improve my writing style. I can't copy their work but I can copy their style. I think that I'll get the whole Lord of the Rings series from the library to get some inspiration. I'll start with The Hobbit and then read the trilogy.
I'm currently reading the fifth book in the Left Behind series: Apollyon. I have about less than 100 pages to go on it.
For next week, I don't really have to come in for News Writing. It will just be an office day. My instructor will just hand back assignments and grades. If fellowship is next week, I guess I'll drive in just for that.
This Friday, I'll be going with my brother to his Alpha Mu Gamma dinner. That club is basically for people that know a foreign language. He invited me to the dinner so I'll be going to it.
The following Friday is my orientation at CMU. Once there, I'll schedule my fall classes and get my ID card.
That pretty much wraps up events. Now to go take advantage of this leisure.....
