This is a serious matter! The drainfield is broken at home! That means my family and I can't use water in our house until we get a new drain field.

I first discovered this problem early in the morning when I got up to use the bathroom (3:30 a.m. to be exact!). When I flushed the toilet, it filled up with water. When I plunged the toilet, I could hear the sound of the drainfield outside. I had to plunge the toilet a few times to force the water into the drainfield, which is overflowed with water.

In the morning, I took a quick shower. When I was about done, my sister told me to turn off the water, since the water was coming into the basement. I then shaved. When I was about done, couldn't use the sink water, either! I had to use the sump water downstairs to wash the shaving gel off my face! Gah, I hate this problem. The drainfield was due, though. It has been there for as long as the house was there: 21 years.

It was not an easy morning to get out of the house. I found out that my dad took the day off to fix this serious problem. That meant that my brother and I could take the car to college. My sister is sick so she's just sleeping downstairs.

As I'm typing this, my dad could very well have the septic tank guy over there. It's one that he knows pretty well, since he has done our septic tank all the other times.

This is a serious matter! I hope that it gets fixed! !!!!!!!111!!one!!!one!!!!!!!11

Hope things get fixed soon. I know personally I couldn't survive without water. It would be a nightmare.

Same here. Things should be back to normal by today.

I hate that too, any time I can't use the water in the house or shower, I have to head over to the recreation center down the street to bath.

Well, glad it won't take a week or something--that would suck--hope things go smoothly and that your sister feels better! ^^

My family and I could not last a week like this. It would be too much.
