A job opportunity?
I scheduled a time to meet with Jack Sterling, Sales director for the Midland Daily News for Thursday, at 1:30 p.m.

If I want a career so badly, I should ask my MMAMA!
Since I haven't had luck searching for a while, I've decided to try networking. I'm joining the MMAMA (Mid-Michigan Advertising and Marketing Association). A link to their website can be found here.
MMAMA is an affiliate of the AAF (American Advertising Federation). Since I was in AD Club at CMU, I should give MMAMA a try as well.
Well, the search continues. I hope that my MMAMA can help me out!

Trying out the Temps....
With Ryan back at CMU, I can now go in to Midland and drop my Cover Letter/Resume/Letter of Recommendation off at a few Temp Agencies. If their specialty is finding people jobs, then I hope they do their jobs well.
Time to leave now.

Getting a temporary job.....
Since the job market in Michigan stinks, I will just get a temporary job somewhere until I can find a permanent job.
I applied at Mejier, Wal-Mart, and Best Buy. We'll see if I can get a job at any of those places.
In the mean time, I will keep looking for a career.
Something's bound to show up sooner or later....

This is it: THE FINAL COUNTDOWN!!!!!
This is it. It is now officially 9 hours and 7 minutes remaining until 2008.
What can I say about 2007? It has been a great year. I have beat Final Fantasy XII, went to Cedar Point, went to Dylan and Shannon's wedding, got an iPod, and got my Bachelor's Degree, to name a few.
2007 was full of events. There were many more events besides the ones listed above but I'd rather not list them since they are not as important. It was a fun year while it lasted, but now it's coming to an end.
What will 2008 bring? Only time will tell. For now, I will just bid 2007 a final farewell.
Goodbye 2007. You will be missed

Year's almost over....
That's right. 2007 is coming to an end. It's only a matter of time before 2008 arrives. In 2008, I am expecting a lot of good things to come out of that year.
As for the New Year's resolutions, I have a few in mind. Will they be accomplished? I guess we'll have to wait until 2008 to find out.
With just two days remaining, I will start to reflect on this year and all the events that have taken place.
Time to take it easy now.

Yay! It's Christmas Eve again!!!
At 8:00 p.m., I will be watching Miracle on 34th Street (1994). This has been a tradition that I've upheld for as long as I remember.
After that, I will drink some eggnog and head off to bed.

I can't believe it's this close already. Tomorrow, the one week countdown begins....

Picking up Ryan today.....
That's right. I'll be picking up my brother in another hour.
First, I will send out the 7 cover letters for today. I will then leave for Mt. Pleasant at 11:00.
After taking so much time with the 7 cover letters, I will have to DDR when I get back.
I don't really do much in my free time. It's just look for work, work out, eat, read, etc.
Something's missing. It must be that I'm not playing any video games (except for DDR, which I just use for workout! :P). Last year, my craving was fulfilled since I was playing Final Fantasy XII nonstop. Since there's no new game this year, I guess that's why I feel deprived.
I might dig out the old console (maybe the NES or SNES! >^_^<) and do some vintage gaming. It's all I can do until Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots comes out for the Playstation 3 in April or May of 2008.
I will now get these cover letters out to the Post Office. That's it for now.

I got something....
Just yesterday, my nose started to run. I've been sneezing and I have a stuffy nose.
Today, I will be sending out more cover letters. When mom comes home, I'll drop my car off at Rudy's to get the windshield wiper on the passenger side repaired.
Following that, I'll be going with mom to drop off grandma's present at Brittney Manor and visit grandma. We will then do some shopping and probably get something to eat.

New Strategy....
I am now trying all the Fortune 500 companies. I am focusing on the ones in the Midwest. Yesterday, I started with Michigan. I will work on Ohio today, and then Indiana and Illinois after that.
I hope I don't have to abandon Michigan but jobs are hard to find right now....
